Project Access at AAPA Conference 2017
Thank you for your interest in participating in Project Access during the AAPA Conference.
Project Access is an outreach program designed to inspire and motivate underrepresented minority youth to pursue a career as a PA. This year, we'll be visiting up to 20 schools in the Las Vegas area.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning, May 16-18, volunteers will give short presentations to local high school students, typically set up in groups of 3-5 with a team lead.
The final schedule will be sent a few weeks prior to the conference, and you'll be able to select a date and time that you're available to participate. There is a mandatory kick-off meeting (not mandatory for student volunteers) at 5pm on Monday, May 15 at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, Lagoon KL room. At the kick-off, volunteers will review the PowerPoint presentation, pick up give-away materials, and meet their team of presenters to exchange contact information.
